I’m starting to think notre dame could win this thing. Idk if we realize how impressive it is to do what they did at Tennessee in that ballpark that is 100% perfect for the Tennessee style of play

ND was one the best teams in the country last year but lost a very competitive Super Regional at State. Most of that same ND team returned for this season.

The normal #2 starter that came in to pitch for OU basically used the game where they had a huge lead to throw a 20-25 pitch bullpen that he would have thrown today anyway. All starters at this level are going to throw a 20-30 pitch pen 2 days before next start.
Saved other arms in the pen, and Michaels threw 91 pitches in the start against Florida in regionals. With a day in between, he will be fine for 30-40 pitches Sunday. Although he won’t be able to do this all tourney long.
