Doesn't even mention the shitty turf Texas uses.

This let me sum up the article: SEC stadium = dump

Not true - the article specifically mentions ATM and UTx.

That should be outlawed in the SEC

A&M is just a big concrete turd, and it’s hot as hell. Tennessee’s was also bad, Just rows and rows of metal seats and concrete. My fav has been The northern schools. Ohio state, michigan, and ND are amazing.

Sec best

UGA
OU
Ole miss
Bama
Arkansas

MU had a small but super neat stadium. They fricked it up tho.

To be fair, only 1/3rd of our stadium is a dump.

You really need to visit more schools.

It’s just one of many features that make up the problem. But Athens gave us REM so it will always be ok in my book.

I’ve been to quite a few. Never auburn but I don’t think it’s in the top 5 of the sec as far as I know which is fine it’s still not a bad one. Bama is probably too high

Thread should be anchored for linking a Pat Forde article

e - no one wants to go to Columbia. If I weren’t a loyal Dawgs fan I’d never set foot inside that dump of a stadium or that ugly town

Tell it all brother, tell it all. If I have to go to a college football game in South Carolina give me Furman in Greenville or The Citadel in Charleston all day long. Columbia is a mini Atlanta, and that ain't a good thing.

A mini Atlanta?? You really made me laugh there. Columbia is more like a town in Appalachia before they got indoor plumbing. Atlanta? Atlanta? GOOD one Hahaha

Haven’t even thought of this guy in five years. Such a tool.

While I agree that A&M’s campus is a soulless wasteland, he 100% telegraphed that his intent with this article was actually to just be a social justice warrior. Hence calling Kyle a dump strictly due to what that those mean milk men said.

Athens sucks after dark if you're an opposing fan quite honestly. Nothing but sidewalk UGA fans wanting to get into fights. The bars are all dirty college bars for the most part as well. It's extremely overrated in my opinion. The campus at Alabama was way too crowded too. People were almost on top of each other trying to tailgate. Just because it's "on campus" doesn't mean better tailgating.

Look man, I’m not even mad at what you said about Tuscaloosa even though I don’t really get it- never seems compressed to me. But this take is objectively awful. Athens is still the best SEC town and USC, which arguably has the best fans, still has the worst gameday experience in the conference. You’re just going to have to deal with that.

Oregon State stadium seems "cozy" on tv - maybe it's the fog

I’m not going to sit here and say it’s top of the SEC or that Athens isn’t,

But that’s a stretch.

Athens has been voted #1 college town in the country many times. Obviously you have never been there. Check it out if you doubt it.
