Man, I'm so jealous of other SEC schools scheduling games out west.

Fort Collins was a fun trip a few years ago, apart from the game.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get to Provo this year, but I probably won't.

I’ve been to Athens plenty and it’s a great college town.

It’s also an SEC town that has a horrendous homeless population and is surrounded by welfare 2 blocks in every direction from campus.

still has the worst gameday experience in the conference.

This is an idiotic take, even for Bama fans.

Who bailed you out Uncle Lou?

No bond for Lou. It's his 5th DUI and he got a felony evading charge. For all his talk about Williams-Brice being a trailer park and Gamecock fans being trash, he has like 2 DUI charges from Barnwell County in his past. Typical UGA fan. Their Wal-Mart fans make Clemson folks look classy. If they had our history you'd have friends and family only in Athens, not the 80k we'll have on Saturday. Frick Georgia.

Sounds like a shitty version of Fayetteville, minus the hills.

Athens has been voted #1 college town in the country many times. Obviously you have never been there. Check it out if you doubt it.

You jump to conclusions.

I've been there and I like it alot. But it's got some dirty and rough areas, just like Fayetteville.

List the ones that are objectively worse. MSU? Way better than it used to be. Vandy isn’t a football experience, but it’s still Nashville.

I don’t have a problem with USC, but stadium being on campus does matter. Having options to run into a variety of bars matters.

Name me one city or town that doesn’t. Other than the Georgia coastal islands I can’t think of any place in Georgia that doesnt have a few less than desirable areas. And it’s the same in every state.
Downtown Athens is a great place to party

I mean, I don't think BSFS is a dump. MSU and Auburn fans should be able to provide inout since they've came to MHK.

So can MU and aTm, but they'll more than likely be negative about it considering they usually got whooped at BSFS.

What do the proximity of bars have to do with a stadium experience? There aren't many stadiums in the SEC that get as rowdy as Williams-Brice. I don't care if it's in an urban jungle or a Norman Rockwell painting. We're gonna get slaughtered on Saturday, but it's gonna be nasty hot, it's gonna be nasty loud and our fans will be downright disgusting to the visitors. I've been to Bryant-Denney (in 2009 when y'all were #1) and it was a mausoleum compared to ours, even the years when we lost 21 straight.

I said gameday experience, not ‘stadium experience,’ or ‘game experience.’ Very big difference. I was quite clearly referring to the entire 12-hour odyssey that one might spend on campus, visiting fiends at campus-adjacent houses, running by the Greek scene if that’s your thing, running into a bars to slam a draft beer in the AC, or a restaurant for a bite.

Ok, but none of this is relevant, to anything we’re discussing. I will note i already gave USC props for having arguable the best fans in the conference. USC has a great, passionate fanbase but it objectively sucks the stadium is off in bumfrick. Frankly I’m not even sure what you’re point is.

That SC rowdiness kinda goes away once Georgia starts steamrolling Carolina. By the fourth quarter 3/4 of the Cock fans have left and all you can hear is the Georgia fans cheering and the Georgia band playing. It’s plenty rowdy then

I have numerous times. Columbia is a good trip. Plus visitors don't have to walk steps to get to the upper deck. Sanford is the only stadium in the SEC with damn steps to the upper deck instead of ramps.
