1975 in Norman, OU has not lost in 2 1/2 years ranked #1, then losses at home to Kansas, albeit Kansas had the first dual threat QB in history and he was good…..

OU recovers and wins out , but no explanation for the loss…..

Any Arkansas game that Chad Morris coached should be on this list.

Hobnail boot had to be top 20. Vol fans were still singing Rocky Top from their go-ahead score as Georgia was flying down the field.

1/9/12 was definitely the most depressing loss for me
1/9/12 was more utter shock and disgust than anything. The screen pass was straight depressing because our hate for Bama was at an all time high and we had the game won.

The 5th Down game is not listed. List is crap.

This is 100% correct. Any list in regards to depressing CFB losses that does not include the 5th down game, is crap.

The Mardi Gras Nightmare is a different LSU/Kentucky game in a different sport. When a Dale Brown coached LSU team blew a 31 point lead to UK with 15 minutes to go at home.

I mean that basketball game literally happened on Mardi Gras in Baton Rouge so it works.

Idk why yall would call anything happening on a Saturday in the fall in Lexington anything to do with Mardi Gras
