No worries, I appreciate the correction, but this thread will be anchored tomorrow. I just wanted to give people a reason to argue for a few minutes before the selection show.

Coastal as the 13 seed doesn't seem right. They're on an 18 game win streak and just beat USM to win the Sun Belt.
Yeah, Flarda got fooked!

48 wins is the most of any team heading into the NCAAT -

We can't let Creighton make it back to play in their home stadium. Go Kansas!

I feel like Auburn is over seeded by 3-4 spots and coastal is under seeded by 3-4 spots.. so this was a way to make that work
I predicted this pairing on the 8/9 line

Can someone explain to me how 2-4 seeds are selected?
I would think the higher hosts would get lesser ranked visiting seeds. Geography is kind of a cop out because you can get anywhere in the country in less than half a day.

They kind of group all the 2s in one column and then the 3s, etc
There’s supposedly no ranking to the 2 seeds other than them being 2 seeds and they’re distributed based on geography, history (they usually won’t put a teaming he same regional 2 years in a row), conference affiliation
Biggest thing is that your 3 and 4s tend to be smaller schools with more limited budget so travel expense is more of a concern

Honestly would be more fun to have a major P4 program come to the box, but LSU typically getting a nice draw is a fun bias
Oddly enough as someone pointed out earlier. The committee strangely left lsu out every time they were on the bubble in the last.

I feel like Texas got a good draw.
Texas can win Regional
Texas can win Super
Texas can beat GA/OM (4-0)
If all of that happens, we’ll likely face Arkansas, LSU or Tennessee. That one game will determine our fate.. again, assuming we can get there.
We’ll probably lose before then, but I like our chances a whole lot more than I did yesterday. It really helps not having to face the #1 for Arkansas or LSU.
And yes, both have good #2’s, but at least we might have a shot..

The SEC set a record for the most teams in the NCAA tourney for the 2nd year in a row.
13 SEC teams made the tournament!

Only team that didn't make it was Texas A & M? LOL. Excellent

Happy with Bama’s draw but could easily see them losing the opening game to Miami.
Get past them and Southern Miss is a team Bama has and can beat. Came close to taking two of three is Nashville as well.

I would rather have Kansas over Dallas Baptist.
Nothing against Kansas, but I like our chances against the field in Fayetteville. Opponents are hitting .260 against the Jayhawks and the Kansas staff ERA is at a 5. Opponents have also 57 homers on the Kansas staff.

I’ll take two wins or regional final as a success
If we get to the winners game, you’ll see Cooper Moore who is 7-2 3.76.
Breckheimer is our only closer who doesn’t make me nervous.
