You can't win championships at ND anymore. It's not a top 10 job. It's in the same boat as stanford. This list is going off potential. Texas has a ton of potential. It's still a top 10 job.

This. Its not at all recent success. Its resources, history, recruiting landscape etc..

Hard to argue with the list but ND is still a top ten job

Don't have good location for recruiting IMO.

Y’all are freaking out about the order.... it is not 1-10 it is simply the top ten.

I think he got it right minus Clemson.

Yeah I don't think its in any particular order, just generally programs he puts in his top 10.

If LSU is a top 10 College Football job, why did they settle for Coach O? Where were all the Top Tier Coaches lining up to interview?

I used to like Cowherd but he's off his damn rocker lately.
Fla St way too high!

He did. That will help keep him around a little longer. Nice.

As long as Gus sticks around, O will always get at least one conference win.

Come on. If they ever lock that state down (like Kirby is unfortunately doing right now), they'll be a force. Plenty of money, great campus, highly regarded institution, fantastic recruiting base, rabid fans.

There is a lot of home-state love for UGA here.

What? It's a very talent rich state. UGA is the flagship school with a big national brand that appeals to kids from all over. Athens is arguably the best college town in America. They've got money. Georgia as a state is the clear leader of the actual south. They've got solid football history.

It's actually a good list. I don't think Clemson is a top 10 job generally, but maybe it is right now.

Hmmm, I'd put the team that has had the most undefeated season in the country the past 30 years on the list. Especially with the mediocre coaches that accomplished that feat. But that's just me.

Sorry UF and FSU aren't 3 and 4.Too much of a talent drain from all the other programs in Florida

There is more than enough talent in the state to go around for the Big 3. The problem is when the coaches suck it opens up more opportunities for out of state schools to come in and poach, but when the Big 3 have strong recruiting staffs they have no issue bringing in talent. The smaller Florida schools have zero impact.

LSU is a better job than Florida State and arguably better than the Bama job.

Cowherd is freaking bi-polar.

"Alabama sucks, only good because of Saban and his recruiting."

"Okay, but how good a job is it?"

"Best one in the country."

I agree with all besides Clemson. I think I would maybe slide AU or A&M in over Clemson. But all 3 have a good argument, and his top 10 in nor particular order is pretty solid
