Colin Cowherd: Big 10 Deserves 2 Playoff Teams

I actually don’t mind Cowherd. But his love fest for Big 10 teams and their coaches is nauseating. Of course it has nothing to do with FS1 & Big 10 partnering up. On his show today he declared that the SECCG is a playoff game and the loser should be out of consideration. He thinks Penn State, despite not winning its division, let alone conference, is more deserving than a 1 loss Bama or UGA. To him, since it’s played on a neutral field the issue is decided. Do you agree?

The biggest Cowherd problem is he using one set of logic for one point then another for another.

He loves to talk about Vegas like they are the end all be all, then ignores them when Vegas would have Alabama and Georgia as favorites over basically everyone in America.

And I'm probably the biggest Leahy fanboy on this website. But she's becoming really annoying with her liberal, idk, tendencies.
She doesn't straight spout out her views or anything. But it seems like she has to physically hold back from going full SJW at times.

I actually think Georgia will lose to Auburn in the DSOR, ND will lose to Stanford, there will only be three Power 5 champions with less than two losses and Penn State will end up making the CFB Playoff. But yeah, there's no way Penn State should jump a one-loss UGA team.

That's the point. Cowherd has been talking about how we haven't beaten anyone worth a crap (we haven't) and because of that any loss disqualifies us.
Penn State hasn't (and might not) beat anyone worth a crap..............and they have 1 loss and should most definitely be in. Their best win, assuming Ohio State wins out, will either be 8-4/9-3 Michigan at home or @ 8-4 Michigan State.
It's just not consistent logic. He does it all the time. He generally crafts arguments pretty well, but then 4 days later he usually the logic set he was just railing on to make some other point.

UGA will at least have solid OOC wins (assuming they win out) against Notre Dame and Ga Tech. They also played State and Auburn out of the West and Alabama assuming they win out. So they will have played arguably the 3 best teams from the West and 2 solid OOC games. That's not a weak schedule comparative to teams from other conferences. In case you haven't noticed, there really aren't a lot of dominant teams across the country this year. It's not just that the SEC is down.

Going to Fox has really exposed Colin’s act. It’s all about who’s writing his checks. He was all about Bama and the SEC at ESPN. Saban is the greatest and Bama is good. Now he’s with Fox so he shits on the SEC and props up the PAC 12 and Big 10. I stopped paying attention a long time ago and unfortunately for him the only time people pay attention to him is when he says bizarre shite.

Yea, that's why he irritates me with stuff like this. He's a smart guy and he really does try to think outside the box, but he's just not consistent at all with his rational for various opinions.

If only 1 SEC team makes the playoff, UGA ought to play the backups against Auburn if they are still undefeated at that point. The game would have no value to UGA. Win or lose, their fate is determined against Bama
