Zero tolerance for assault of a woman, and especially a pregnant one at that, if that's what this actually was. He needs to be gone right away if the facts warrant it.

Innocent until proven guilty is a foundational piece of the justice system, no?
The case can be spun in very different directions based on information currently available. And lawyers are much better at spinning than Rant posters like myself. People always jump to conclusions with stuff like this, take it with plenty of salt until more information is confirmed. Otherwise, you create a world where an accusation can ruin your life.

Did you read the part directly above which said she was gathering her things and called a friend? Sounds like she was leaving, don't know why he would physically need to force her out.

Picking someone up requires pressure on them
This CNN article says there was physical evidence.
