We are going to see turnover this year, at least 2 and maybe as many as 5 or 6 SEC schools are likely in the market for someone new

Mike Norvell of Memphis is a popular name.

Who is the #1 guy on your wish list?

As an LSU fan I was intrigued by PJ Fleck. Young guy with energy. Has a winning track record as an HC. Built his last program to a really strong team. Would have loved to see what he can do at LSU. may have failed. But lets face it. We hired a position coach with a HORRIBLE track record as a HC NO one wanted because he talked like us.

I have decided that no coach can bring glory to Ole Miss. They can hire who they like.

Does this list have to be realistic?

If not, then gimme Gary Patterson.

I have no idea who his coordinators are
I can only really remember 3 or so big name players
They are never at the very top in recruiting

Yet they are always pretty good. Gimme that guy.

Dabo - as good as he can recruit at Clemson , he would kill it at a place like UF , Bama ,USC ect. I don't see him leaving Clemson for any job put Bama but he seems to be the top coach in college football now along with Sabah.

Gundy at Oklahoma State , Paterson , stoops , chip Kelly and James franklin would all be home run hires too.

Keep an eye out for Matt Campbell. He was good at Toledo and might even have Iowa State bowling this year, he's like 36.

Satterfield has been kicking arse at App State, probably in line for a big gig.

Combie is the current OC for TCU. Came up under Mike Leach and it took him 4 years to go from being a GA to being a co-OC. Has had TCU's offense rolling for three plus years now

Top five
Chip Kelly - Maybe a bit unrealistic, but he needs a job. Him with our playmakers? Omg...

Dan Mullen =- If he can do this well at Miss State, he can win titles at Florida.

Mike Gundy - Weird guy. But straight up a winner

DJ Durkin - Maybe a little high. But I love this guy. He seems like a really good head coach

PJ Fleck - He could spark life back into our offense I'd hope.

Honestly? Kyle Whittingham of Utah. However, that will not happen.

I think a lot of people over estimate their programs, in terms of luring an established P5 coach to their program.

For instance, Whittingham has been at Utah for a dozen years. He makes over $3m/year. Could he make more money at A&M or Florida, sure. Could he have access to better athletes, definitely. Is there an easier path to titles at those schools, I'm not sure. Is it worth it?

Same with Gundy.

In a vacuum, sure, those jobs are better. But when you've established yourself for over a decade somewhere and you've got job security and tons of support, why would you leave
