re: I predict Florida's offense to explode on LsU w the gators wining by double digits

Well I dont think anyone in the LSU camp thinks you are making some bold prediction that Florida is going to hammer LSU. Matter of fact we all fully expect it. We lost to Troy. Florida SHOULD hammer LSU or they are pathetic...
Also we were both wrong. It opened at UF -5 now its -3. By the time my services posted it it was at -3.5

"Line opened at 7. The sharps steamed florida down to -3.5. "
Umm. Maybe I am wrong but that doesnt make sense. If heavy money was going on Florida the line would INCREASE for Florida not decrease. the whole point of Vegas is to get even money on both sides. Based on that logic "The sharps are steaming it towards LSU"
Now. For the record the line never opened at 7 it opened at 3.5 according to my service. Being you get 3 for home field. Vegas opened this as basically a pick em.
Now I agree LSU is probably going to lose in a large way. But your attempt at a troll is rife with failure...

re: Is this what being a MS State fan feels like?

Well for those of us around in the late 80s and 90s this is a familiar feeling.
I remember when we beat auburn and we rushed the field one year because it was such an amazing feat.
I remember when Saban got us to the Peach Bowl and we all went in droves like we had just won the national title. We took over Atlanta after that game drinking all the bars dry.
Quite frankly I wish I felt we had a team that could beat an SEC foe by 30 points like Miss State did to LSU this year.
No this is sadly a familiar feeling, you expect to lose every game, when you keep it close you celebrate, when you shockingly win you tear down goal posts and celebrate a bowl bid.
Its all good it really is a more peaceful life. It sucks but is a lot less stressful.
Edit - For an Arkansas fan makes a comment about LSU being a doormat, that is laughable.

Yes the troy loss was the confirmation. Good point

We feel nothing as well, most wont even be watching the game and if they do, HEAVILY sedated.
Upset?
if UF doesnt win by 10 or more butter teeth should be on the hotseat quickly.
Miss State has been beaten the last two weeks 80-13. That very team beat LSU by 30 points.
Do the math.

Troll away UF. Almost the entire LSU fan base has a "Give a S***" factor of 0.

re: It's pretty incredible how completely dead the LSU/Florida thing has been this week

Pretty much sums up, not a single sane LSU fan thinks we have a shot to win this game (or any games this year). If ANY team this year loses to LSU and Coach O you should be ashamed. really even a close win.
Miss State which has in the last two weeks be proven to be a pretty bad team beat LSU by 30 points.
Troy beat LSU.
So if UF only wins by 10 or less you should fire butter teeth immediately.
Outside of the Tennessee game this year which will truly be a pillow fight of two confused coaching staffs

Being I live in Athens Georgia it's hard not to have a rooting interest in the local team. I go to many of their games and tailgate, good people.

re: Why are LSU fans so afraid of UGA?
Posted by youngnastyman on 9/25/17 at 9:08 pm
Ironic.
I would not say I am personally afraid. so much so I live literally a 12 minute drive from UGA's campus. I like UGA actually, attend many of their games. LSU flag flies on my house all year here in the Athens area, but the only thing I am afraid of is clowns, my wife during her time of the month, and any food served at Taco Bell.

re: Coaching wish list - who do you want for your team?
Posted by youngnastyman on 9/19/17 at 1:28 pm
As an LSU fan I was intrigued by PJ Fleck. Young guy with energy. Has a winning track record as an HC. Built his last program to a really strong team. Would have loved to see what he can do at LSU. may have failed. But lets face it. We hired a position coach with a HORRIBLE track record as a HC NO one wanted because he talked like us.

I assume you are attending the game so if you are looking to watch other games prior to kickoff like many have said pick a place and walk in. You wont have a hard time finding a place for a cold beer and watch some football. I would avoid the GA Theatre for game watching. Being born and raised in Baton Rouge and attending LSU Games for 40+ years its not like what LSU does in the union.
As I have stated on Saturday you will find many tailgates (ours for example) that has multiple TVs watching football as well.

I would put Last resort high on the list but it is very difficult to get in there during game weekends (its pretty small and always crowded) but one of my favorites.
Georges Lowcountry on Milledge is also one of my favorites and a few places in Five Points.
If you want super fancy Five and 10 also on Milledge is where we go from time to time for "date nights" (I am old and long time married) very nice upscale place.
Teds mosts best is your typical pizza fare but good. If you want to look around, cant beat downtown Athens. Good places to eat, great music and bar scene. If you are with a woman friend the botanical gardens are nice. Or some of the local breweries like Terrapin is worth a stop. Nothing fancy.
If your up for a 15 minute drive out to the country, come visit us in Watkinsville at Chops and Hops. Only locals out this way, good beer selection, reasonable food. Wonderful people
To watch other games, plenty of places downtown to find some TV's but I recommend you walk around the tailgates. As an LSU fan you are the last person I want to see ;-)
Just kidding. Welcome anytime you wont leave hungry or sober. I am the ONLY LSU tent and chairs in the entire place right across from the Georgia Center. Hard to miss me.

Question for UGA fans - Not Football related
Posted by youngnastyman on 9/3/17 at 5:02 pm
Sorry I am posting this in the SEC rant this is non football related but I asked for and never received permission to post on the UGA board. I guess because I am LSU.
Anyway, for the Georgia group - I live in Athens (Love it here) and my daughter plays Volleyball at her school (Prince Ave) - Middle School
I have searched all over the internet how to get UGA Volleyball tickets to take her to some games but cannot find anywhere to buy tickets.
Do they just open the doors for Volleyball. I can find tickets to all other sports such as Girls basketball, Baseball etc. But no matter how many google searches nothing for Volleyball. I was at the game yesterday and not one had an answer either.
So appealing to UGA students/grads to see if anyone knew how to get into UGA volleyball games.
Again I am sure I will get 1m downvotes being its football season, hoped to post this on the UGA board but not allowed.
