Uh, no.
I’m all for coaches and other public figures being able to stand up for themselves when confronted. A guy making big money to coach football does not give rando asshat license to abuse or confront him in public.
BIG difference between that said said coach circling back later to confront said asshat. At that point, you are choosing the interaction, and you can’t know it won’t spiral out of control.
Do I think this is cause for termination? No.
Do I think it reflects poorly on impulse control and understanding the “role”? Absolutely.

Still, he should have avoided it altogether, and he should no longer be coach there.

I think he reacted (probably poorly) IN THE MOMENT.
Did he hear it earlier, then circle back to find the person?
He still should have moved on, but there is a difference.
Hell, even Saint Saban has lost his shite with asshats in a given moment. He doesn’t seek them out later.

Can we all agree at this point (LSU fans and the whole world) that this guy's knuckles drag. He probably is a second cousin to Sasquatch and that he (along with Chizik) caught lightning not in a bottle but a thimble. Coach O is the guy that works the front end loader at the block plant that spits his Grizzly Fine Cut (because Copenhagen is too pricy--by the way I love Grizzly fine cut) in the cab.

this is me. I wanted it to work even though i was skeptical, but frick...enough is enough. I have made excuses for him after evey off the field incident. and everyone of those incidents in a vacuum are no big deal but its been one after another and eventually perception is reality.

I didn't catch any of the pregame bullshite cause I was dove hunting, but yeah, that pretty much sums up our fanbase.

Not seeing how this presents an additional problem for O. Unless there happened to be a translator present, the audio is going to be pretty useless.
