I would be sad too if I graduated from just a community college. UCF doesn’t hold a candle to UF in anything, really. Go ask any recruiter who they prefer for jobs. There’s no comparison.

Arkansas was top three this decade with one BCS appearance and another bowl which is now a NY6 game.

The article says that UCF's Danny White called begging for a game, UF's Stricklin totally big-timed White and told him that UCF could sign the same deal as any other Non-Power5 school: a 2 for 1.

What's the big deal? UCF will be forgotten in 2-3 years. Tulane went undefeated 20 years ago. Southern Miss had a shot at a BCS Bowl game in 2011. So what?

This is the money quote. Tommy Bowden parlayed a run at Tulane into a bigger gig for himself, just like Scott Frost did at UCF. Ultimately, UCF will go the way of Tulane, remembering the good old days when they were the flavor of the month instead of dropping games to UAB and SMU. At least Tulane is a respected academic institution, and not a glorified community college.

I think the quote was "ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE." I think they even painted that on their field one year. And of course, at the time, the slogan was bullshite. It should have been, "ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE (except a 2 for 1)," because they wouldn't agree to one with State, but then accused us of not wanting to play them.
