I'm so sorry, Auburn Family....I really liked Coach Dye. He was one of the Old Guard in the SEC. I always enjoyed listening to his stories on The FB Show....God Bless Coach Pat Dye and his family....RIP

This is the reason we push you beyond what you think you can do, to experience moments like this.

Ain't no easy way in life. And it wasn't easy out there tonight, but you were prepared for the task at hand.

Sure, I'd like to be 11-0, but I'm gonna tell you something. I wouldn't swap this year for any year that I've been at Auburn.

I wouldn't swap it, men.

Because I've watched you struggle, and I've watched you wrestle with them angels, but I've watched you grow up and become men.

I watched you become men.

This is horrible. He was a heck of a coach and did so much for Auburn.

I read where Georgia, Alabama, and naturally Auburn all meant a lot to him.

Yeah... very few in the history of the SEC that had such tight connections to all 3 programs, for sure.

It breaks my heart to see all of the legends pass away. Johnny Majors and Gene Stallings don’t have many years left.

This is a tremendous loss for all of College Football.

Thought abut him yesterday. Won't ever forget the bird hunting weekends at his place with my FIL and friends. Good food, drink, great conversations and laughter and story telling. First met him in Tuscaloosa when I was fresh out of the military and he was great to me. A real man and a for real guy. SEC legend.

God, I love that man.

Go watch this and tell me that man didn't love his guys and tried his best to help them become better men.
Wrestling with them angels

Ahh, someone already posted. Oh well, it's worth the watch if you missed the first one...

Damn, I truly hate to hear this Auburn folks, he has nothing but respect from me. Some of the Dye family went to the same school I did.

RIP and Godspeed Coach Dye
