I’d agree with this. We have their worst representation here, but IRL Aggie fans are pretty cool. I’d also say the same for Alabama fans. Also fun to chat with when they come to Tiger Stadium. And Georgia fans aren’t too bad.

Outside of the web-based world, I find most all SEC fans to be classy and respectful particularly pre-game at the football tailgate parties.
On The Rant and elsewhere online, just about everyone takes a wrong turn now and then.

Most college sports fans are pretty cool in real life. Only places I've encountered an inordinate amount of assholes are Texas Tech, Miami, and Baylor.

Hard for me to say without sounding like a homer, but all I know is it was well documented after our SEC opener in 2012 that Georgia fans were weirded out by how friendly we were to the visiting fans

From my experience with every fan base in the SEC, I’d go Mizzou fans.

I’ve personally been to LSU, Ole Miss, UF, Alabama and Auburn.
The nicest folks I experienced was a split between Auburn and Ole Miss.
We never had any issues with anyone at the other venues, the folks in AU & Ole Miss were just friendly.

Don't know about the classiest, but the worst by far,Tennassee and the Barn, and it ain't close.

Never really had a problem with any SCar fans.
Hell, I think they're all just so numb from their own incompetent AD, they don't care anymore.

I think it depends on the school and potential rivals which makes each school a bit different for each fanbase.
I traveled to every SEC stadium (pre-expansion of Mizzou and A&M) with a school affiliated group. Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU (surprise to many) were all really good as the boosters fed us and the fans were really nice. Everyone talked shite but it was all out of fun. Nothing worthy of taking it to Sonic.
Bama fans were ok except one family who cussed us the whole game. Not my favorite trip.
Vandy fans were non-existent but we did have some beta guys try and talk shite at our busses even though we kicked their arse. Nashville is fun.
Florida was awesome cause they let us use their bus when ours caught fire (this really happened). Jorts are for real but everyone was nice.
Ole Miss is our rival but realistically we are all like siblings. You have those cousins that embarrass you at social events… both sides have them.
South Carolina was pretty crazy. Not a bad crazy but like a party you want to attend but know you shouldn’t cause you might wake up 3 days later in another state.
UGA was good but the barking old dudes got old. I’m sure everyone says the same with our cowbells. UGA was weird about our parking and we had to walk through fans to get back to the busses.
