Just because we recognize that he keeps our players in line does not mean that we think he can do no wrong. Why does that bother you so much? You should go see a shrink. Saban is all up in your head still.

Stop living in the past buddy. Saban is one of the most revered disciplinarian in the history of organized sport IMO. He wasn't the coach at LSU that he is now, I'll agree with you there. But now that he's perfected his methods, it really is amazing to see the discipline he's instilled in this kids. Especially when you compare it to other programs like LSU, Georgia, and Auburn and stuff.

I dont get whats so classy about it...

He made him write a letter and said it was a poor decision in his press conference? And.....

Thats pretty much PR damage control is all.

Suspend your boy for a game or two, if you want to be classy and do the right thing. He's not a starter anyway, so it shouldnt be a problem for team and really sends clear message.

Otherwise this isn't class, its just damage control PR is all.

I honestly didnt have a problem with it so much when I saw it live. Kinda borderline but hell, its football.. I have seen Russel Shepard get body slammed several times and never thought it was cheap.

We were on his arse when he was here. Dude lost to UAB and Houston. He was a great coach and loved, you just didn't see grown men running over their children for an autograph like you see in T Town

If he isn't then I'm going to flip shite. So should Ross Bjork and Freeze. If an Ole Miss player had done that there would have been an official announcement from the SEC after the game suspending our player for multiple games then charges would have been file

I would hate for you to flip shite, but it might be kind of funny to watch. Let me know where you are when the shite is about to be flipped.

Never said that at all. We just don't have that cult like passion like in T Town. Passionate for sure, but we call it like we see it. Bama fans praise their team with blinders no matter what. How the Bama fans freaked out at the airport when Nick arrived for the first time was truly funny stuff......and kind of sad.

They really aren't to be honest. LSU fans are probably as passionate, but not as fanatical. The slogan you guys use "Some play football, We live it" is spot-on.

And this is a bad thing? Seriously though, there hasn't been much of a reason for us to wear blinders lately. Amirite?

You'd have a point if this was a true, but stick around if we drop a game or two.

that was a handful of Bama fans, and most of them were just there to show support...a lot of fans do this at many schools.

The player's initials are D.J. and he was kicked off the team mid way thru his Jr. yr, eventually getting drafted same yr but he dropped way down in the rounds. Saban is not up my arse, I just get sick of bama fans, not Saban, blowing him up beyond what he really is: a very good to great college football coach, not to be compared to a very good pro football coach.

Why does it even bother you? The guy is the best in CFB right now, and one of the best ever. Those are the facts. Might as well get used to it.

He is a true frosh third team DT with a grand total of three tackles on the year and hasn't even played in all the games.

You're going to be pissed for an entirely different reason if he's even on the field to try it in Death Valley.
