Chinese foot detox and massage. It’s fun when you can’t understand a word they’re saying.

Give her a gift card for a fish nibble pedicure.
Fish eat all the dead skin off Ma's feet and they're
fat and happy and Ma's left with squeaky clean feet .....
while you're left with warm feelings of rejuvenating
your mother's clodhoppers and providing a soup line for
a number of hungry fish.

Don't have a mother to buy for anymore but it's always a good idea to recognize the wife no matter the holiday.

She wanted a new recliner to replace the one we've had for over 20 years which had reached the point where the recline part would no longer stay down in addition to the deteriorating fabric that she'd duct taped and had a cover on.

The one I got her is all leather, motorized with lumbar support and has a massage feature and includes wi-fi with the best sound system of anything else in the house. It has dual hidden cup holders, storage on one side and the bottom side glows with blue light. She loves it.

Only set me back about $1800.

I live far away from my parents. I’ve had a standing arrangement with a local florist for 15 years. I give her a set amount each year and she puts something together and delivers it. I don’t even have to remember it’s Mother’s Day.

Every few years she calls and says I need to raise my budget.

Marcelo, some people on this board live in and around the Auburn/Opelika census area.

They're considered fortunate if their trailer is twice the normal width.

God bless them!

My parents don't like clutter so just showing up with grandkids and a card makes her happy. Doing some random household chores they can't physically do always helps.

has to be consumable. otherwise it becomes clutter that we'll have to deal with down the road. or she'll give back to us next year in an attempt to de clutter her house.

A shitty card because I blew all my chips at the Casino Saturday night and Kroger has sold out of all the good ones by Sunday morning.

Being as this is Alabama I usually get her a gift card at the tattoo parlor so she can get another part completed on the Bear Bryant/Nick Saban full-back piece she's been having done over the years.

My daughter was born on May 11th and we were in the hospital on Mother's Day.

My wife was madder than hell that she didnt receive a mother's day gift then. I told her well our daughter is your gift. Imagine how that went.

Knowing women like I do, she probably did everything in her power to have your child before Mother's Day.

22+ years of trying to explain to my wife that she isn't my mother...

A day at the spa is usually a good one, regardless of age.
