I refused to watch it because it has been widely known that it was BS.
It never was promoted nor meant to be a documentary...it was and is a narrative based on actual events. Each to his own of course but not watching a movie, TV show or reading a narrative which is based on actual events because there is some diversion from the facts is going to reduce the amount of such things to zero...and some of it is very entertaining.
I saw the movie. Enjoyed it. Never thought for a moment it was 100% factual basically because no one ever claimed it was. If there is a reason to have not seen it, outside of simply not wanting to, it'd be that it is one more in a pile of such things that are basically white savior stories where black folks are in a mess and can't get out of it without a white person coming along and saving them. I enjoy those kinds of stories but I also recognize them for what they are....

Even Sully didn’t like how his story of landing the plane was told.
He did, however, love Norm MacDonald's "Sully Sullenburger, Airport Pilot".

The conservatorship is still effective today.
And you argue that suing now to end it is not sincere? Lol
Them being in control of his money in any manner after he was an adult is a seriously bad look for them, him, his agents and any other lawyer with information about the case...unless he was somehow incapacitated no adult should have anyone in charge of the decisions they make. There is a book a couple years old and a movie coming out soon about a similar situation that involved native Americans and their "Guardians" who was murdering them for their money, so I reckon in the overall scheme of things Oher got off easy thus far....

All movies based on true stories take too much dramatic license. Even Sully didn’t like how his story of landing the plane was told. Truth is somewhere out there, but I doubt we’ve heard it.
The difference between a documentary and a narrative based on actual events. Documentaries, or movies promoted as such, should not take license...narratives, by their nature, generally require it. Especially when the film makers unreservably tell consumers the story is based on actual events. Disliking narratives based on actual events would include such things as Moneyball, Rudy, Hoosiers, We Are Marshall, Radio, Remember The Titans, The Pride of The Yankees, Seabiscuit...that's just the sports genre....and a very short list

doubt he’s sincere in claiming he just found out in February like I said yesterday
FlemoRaps on YouTube did an excellent video on Oher a year ago. Oher hit him up and thanked him for the great video and said there were two important details that were unknown. This was in 2022. Oher knew well before 2023.

Who’s melting? I just don’t believe his story neither do I believe the Touhys are in it for the right reasons and never have. I have never liked them and have said so repeatedly. Why are you believing Michael Oher? Type lol again in response maybe that’ll work

Right unless he’s really as stupid as he’s claiming for years even though he’s only a year younger than I am and didn’t know.

Lol
You melt very easily.
This will play out and the truth will be revealed.
As it stands, it will be Michael's side to continue.
I'm sure the Tuohy's attorney has pulled out the duct tape.

The movie was your typical hour and half Hollywood feel good puff piece. I don't think anyone watching it believed it was entirely truthful, that'd be naive and idiotic.

It was on in a room I was forced to be in, but I didn't "watch" it.

I watched it but it was a completely made up version of everything that happened. They make him look overly sad the entire time.
If you've read anything from him in the past 5 yrs he is sad about everything.

Yeah, the gang bangers whose eyes got big and they swallowed hard when this uppity white chick said she was carrying a gun was just over the top stupidity.
