I refused to watch it because it has been widely known that it was BS.

And as someone else pointed out - the fact that Ole Miss fans are pissed at Oher and not the Touhys is on brand.

Me neither. But going to guess that Sandra Bullock is a victim.

Somebody fill me in, because I've been detached from the fuss about this film since 2010, and I'm too lazy to Google what the controversy is.

I watched it but it was a completely made up version of everything that happened. They make him look overly sad the entire time.

It's just like Ole Miss football, over hyped and full of false narratives.

The Tuyohys and Freeze should've went all in on a QB instead of an OL.

I don’t believe the Touhys story either don’t really know how that’s funny or different than what other ole Miss fans here are saying.

Go ahead and explain why you doubt the timing.

Go ahead and explain what Michael Oher's sincerity has to do with anything.

Never watched. I did see a local channel news report that pretty much told the story when the movie came out. I think it was given about a minute of air time.

Because it seems like he wants money and publicity pretty simple

I doubt he’s sincere in claiming he just found out in February like I said yesterday

Anymore questions poindexter

It was pretty good. I can't wait for the sequel.

All movies based on true stories take too much dramatic license. Even Sully didn’t like how his story of landing the plane was told. Truth is somewhere out there, but I doubt we’ve heard it.

It was a good movie. Even if it was complete fiction.

The Tuohys made money on the movie about Michael oher.
Michael oher did not. Lol

quote:

and publicity pretty simple

The movie that paid him nothing made him look like a fool.
He also looked like a fool thinking he was a part of the Tuohy family through the conservatorship (per what the Tuohys and their lawyer told him as an 18 year old). Embarrassing the Tuohys is now top of mind, and I don't blame him.

I doubt he’s sincere in claiming he just found out

The conservatorship is still effective today.
And you argue that suing now to end it is not sincere? Lol

You are melting over someone who was taken advantage of by an Ole Miss booster as a manchild. If I were him, I'd be pissed that the woman who loved it when I called her mom lied to me.
