The SEC has had a national title winner every decade since the SEC started.
In fact the SEC has had future SEC teams win the national title before the SEC was founded.
Honestly no other conference comes close to the SEC and its history.

Thats why I'm excited about us coming to the SEC. Hopefully someday we add championships representing that rich SEC history.

Considering you haven't been able to do it in the Big 12 since Y2K was a thing, I doubt it.
Guess we will see if we can change that narrative once we balance our game having a defense unlike the last 10 years. Recruiting on the D side's getting better so time will tell.
