im currently working in cyber security while waiting to go back to grad school in the fall. I code and encrypt payment software from home. I have a little boy i stay at home with while my (soon to be wife) is at work and I do everything from my laptop. I’m planning to get my doctorate and work to develop nuclear power and help perfect it to get us all off of fossil fuels.
And from what I saw looking into it, outside of engineering specific schools, SC has one of the only nuclear engineering graduate/undergraduate programs nationwide. My other top school was Colorado school of mines but I had already moved from NJ to SC I didn’t want to go across the country and learn another new area at 17.
Kinda regret that though because I had an offer to play football there.

CSM in Golden Colorado? Played against them when I was an undergrad at Carson Newman In the 80’s. Beautiful campus.

Depends on what a kid wants. Businesses go to Carolina. Biomedical or engineering go to Clemson( other than a couple of good engineering programs at Carolina). Both schools honestly equally serve the young people of our state. Carolina attracts some kids because they don’t want a rural setting of Clemson and vice versa.
We need to improve our K-12 here but our public universities do a really good service.

Yeah, d2 school out there. The campus is absolutely beautiful I just didn’t want to move that far away again after moving from New Jersey.
