I understand it’s college football as a whole, but why do these conference specific shows not put former players on that played in them?

Mark Ingram & Brady Quinn for instance, I understand Quinn played some B10 teams but still.

I watched SEC Network introduce Daniel, who was a great player, as a former Mizzou QB but implied as if it was during their SEC time.

Why not hire Aaron Murray? Even Damien Harris is making his way to media relevancy.

You know it’s deep in the offseason when this is on my mind

Maybe he was brought into the SEC Network to get more Missouri fans to watch and support the show?

Ingram is from Michigan so he understands the B1G culture, so I kind of get why Fox put him on their show. He may be the most diehard Alabama fan of all our currently living former players, though. I remember watching Bama games 5-10 years after he left for the NFL and you'd still randomly see him on the sidelines celebrating with the RBs after a big run.

Mark is from Michigan and played in the sec, I would imagine he’s an important part of their hype machine(I assume I don’t watch big noon) but he gives fox the push back voice. So when the espn hype machine says something pro sec he is the guy in the room that can go “that’s not true I played in the sec and this is closer to Whats really going on” or “this usc team looks different under Riley, I know bc I played for a championship team”

It might have to do with Chase being BETTER than any other options?
Maybe?

I don't really care where they come from as long as they:

1. Understand the SEC
2. Aren't a dumbass

Big noon isnt a big ten exclusive show. Its supposed to be a national show like college gameday, so they want commentators from all over the country just like gameday. Obviously since fox has the big ten's media rights they tend to cover the big ten more than anything else but I wouldnt group big noon with the sec network.

I'm kind of ready for these shows to finish running their courses. What may be better is to have more live check-ins from campuses around the nation and not have one location spotlighted each week.

I remember him being on the sidelines cheering on Derrick Henry... where we got to see the huge height difference between the two.
