“How can Alabama fans or anyone not get this through their thick skulls…just because you are saying Brandon Miller should be off the team doesn’t mean you are saying Brandon Miller should go to prison.”

He calls out Bilas specifically too. Worth the watch.

If he had anything to do with it he should be in jail awaiting trial. If not then he should be fine to play. A suspension from shooty hoops isn’t a punishment, a punishment is getting kicked out of school and tried as an accessory.

From what I’ve read it would be very difficult to successfully prosecute him as an accessory. But it’s not hard at all to conclude he acted with reckless disregard for life which contributed to the killing of an innocent woman.

Not all Bama fans are happy with the way this has been handled.

Noted. But to be fair to Chad, the only people I’ve seen on the wrong side of this are Bama fans and Bilas. I’m sure there are a few others but there aren’t many.

I think a first round draft pick, Miller, putting himself in this situation is probably more of a dumbass than poster JonHam

That’s rich since your athletic department is resting its entire reputation on ignorance.

And if it’s not ignorance, then they’re concealing the truth. Unless the truth is he didn’t read the text in which case why on earth haven’t they or Miller’s attorney let anyone else know?

is not hard also to conclude from the same set of facts that he had no idea what he was driving into, just picking up his friends from a bar. Your are a miserable little man who's angry he beat your basketball team

Every single player on pretty much every team in this league is one phone call from the same thing happening to them. They are all adjacent to or hanging around with people, or are directly involved in the pathetic thug life that leads to this kind of stuff

Oh really? Please link us to Miller’s response on whether he read the text message before delivering the gun.

I’d just like bama fans to admit if Miller was a scrub db like Ricks they would be all over him being kicked out. Also if it was just your average guy in ttown they would want him locked up.

Is there a spot for Bama fans that think the athletic department has horribly mishandled this, but also think Brandon Miller didn’t intentionally do anything malicious or nefarious? My opinion on the latter may change as more info come out, but right now I don’t see that he’s done anything to warrant a suspension.

And this is where I will always disagree. I don't care if it's an Alabama player or a rival player from another SEC school. What should he be kicked off the team for if he didn't commit an offense?

It's the Cancel Culture mentality. It really doesn't matter if you actually don't break the law if there is an appearance of wrong doing you must be punished to the fullest!!

I think that's where most logical and reasonable people would be. But this place is a fricking cesspool, full of idiots.

There is an appearance of wrong doing because we know Miller received the text before delivering the gun. To clear up that appearance, he can say he didn’t read it or Bama can inquire into it and explain how the outcome of that inquiry supports its “no discipline” decision, but neither has happened. Therefore, the most reasonable conclusion is that he did read it before and therefore acted with a disregard for the safety of others which contributed to the killing of an innocent woman.

You must have missed Game Day this past Saturday.
All 4 guys on the set said the TIDE made the right call standing by, not suspending Miller.

Keep your obsession going.
Long as he or Bradley's not charged with anything, only witnesses to the situation, they'll both play.

An ignorant and incorrect statement. Par for the course for LSU fans.
