Gtfo with this shite.

Let me tell y'all how bad that loss was. I went from thinking before the game "this year is a wash. Can't expect anything til year 3 at the earliest" to thinking "our program won't survive another year if this dude isn't fired right now" by halftime against San Jose State.

This sounds like official propaganda from a Clemson friend of Chad's. Is that you, Dabo?

I don’t think so… Very good choice based on what they knew at the time and may turn out OK. Reminds me of the Butch Jones hire… Everybody acts now like it was horrible as if he wasn’t one of the hottest coaching names in America. You get the best guy you can, give him the resources he needs and hope for the best. He doesn’t have the horses and will need some time for that. Maybe it doesn’t work out but that doesn’t mean Arkansas did a poor job of vetting candidates, or in getting rid of that fat f*** Bert.

You'll survive will all of that SEC money being brought in. You need to be more like the Gamecocks and accept what you are....

SMU has more P5 wins since Morris left than Morris has his entire career.

(Morris has 0)

You didn't hire the right cat for year 1 or 2, it was always going to be a rebuild from Bert. Yes, you should have won the game and every right to be pissed. You still have 8 games left to make a mark on the season (I can still see you winning 2 or 3 games on the right day).

Trade him with Luke. I'll love Arkansas forever.

Morris built SMU back to a competitive team. Their success they are having right now is because of him. If there's a coach that deserves 4 years, it's him. Bert left y'all in way worse shape than I think you realize

Instant gratification isn't going to happen...winning 5-6 games should be considered a big win for the program this year.

No shite Sherlock - we would have accepted that. But it ain’t happening, won’t even come close.

We should have hired a currently employed, actual high school coach before hiring Morris.

Or Georgia State...in year 10 of their existence.

You hired a guy that tried to play Wisconsin football in the toughest division of the toughest conference in America, with the best defenses. With 3 and 4 star players built for that style. Epic fail.

Now the guy you hired that resurrected a program from the dead at SMU and runs a spread system is supposed to make chicken salad from the horse shite Bert left him? In year 2? Progress is being made but the results don't show it yet. It sucks to lose to mediocre G5 schools but be patient. Pull the plug now and it's back to square one. In year 4, if you aren't winning games, pull the plug.

That is why I had no problem with Gus’s contract at that point in the season (Dec). I guarantee AU would have ended up with Morris or Brown in a panic hire.

Maybe Chad should be an illusionist because he's supremely capable of making any progress seem non existent. Because I don't see anything better at all.

Kansas just got hit with LOIC, so Les might just be able to get out of his contract there.

Just saying...

People said the same thing when we fired Nutt and the next coach led us to 10 and 11 wins back to back and a top 5 finish

They have 16 grad transfers including a grad transfer QB from Texas who is lighting it up. We got Morris' old QB in Hicks and he didn't even make it 2 games without losing his job.

Bielema failed here but you could argue defense was his problem more than offense. We finished #2 in the league in scoring in 2015 and were also pretty good on offense in 2016. Had a mackey award winner. I don't think offensive style had much to do with it. His QB evaluation was awful though.
