Not here to troll - I welcome the downvotes etc. but the SEC and CFB is better off when UT has a strong team. I understand our top 10 ranking is probably pre-mature - but I am going to enjoy this. Our fanbase has been through absolute hell the last 15 years and it feels good to have meaningful games coming up.

LSU game will be a real challenge regardless of the time they kick off - if we can pull one out in 2 weeks we will have a potential top 5 or 6 showdown with Bama and the 3rd Saturday in October will be what it should be.

I am not sure how this season will play out - but if Hooker remains healthy - we have a legit shot to beat anyone on any given day. This also won't be a 1 year fluke with the future players we have coming in. The SEC is about to get a lot more interesting than it has the last 2 years because LSU will be in the picture soon as well with BK.

It's better to have teams in the EAST give UGA headaches instead of letting them walk to Atlanta every year on an easy ride. It evens up the conference

Maybe, maybe not. However, it would be nice for Georgia to not have an absolute cake walk to a semi-home game in the SECCG for the foreseeable future though.

I'm down with this. Been a long time coming.

I can't wait till November rolls around and we won't have to worry about all these Vol threads anymore.

Tennessee future looks very bright. I agree that a strong Tennessee makes for a better SEC overall. Just need to get Auburn right and tBigSix will be fully engaged.

It certainly helps the East side of things. And about time.

Here's my homer take: The SEC is more enjoyable when Tennessee is good.

Here's my non-homer take: The SEC is more enjoyable when Spurrier is somehow involved.

LOL didn't Mizzou win the east a couple times in the past 10 years. That really was UGA's chance to own the east and they blew it.

In the picture but still losing the big games. Think UGA in the 90’s.

It won't help you though because we are infinitely better than Texas.

I agree that UT is back to being relevant this year. Hopefully they can sustain it. Most of the teams (sans Bama) know how tough it is to be a top team year in and year out. UGA has found the recipe and I fully expect LSU to be back in it within the next couple of years. The east needs to have some step up and challenge yearly and not just when they catch lightening in a bottle
