They'll be demanding state taxes and other lib agendas soon enough, then so many of them will come they will push it through. Texas will be ruined, and they will move on like locusts to destroy the next state.

Good, as long as they stay the hell out of Alabama.

We're playing 4D chess here. Keep things shitty enough and stay low enough on all the lists to dissuade people from moving in.

Way too many people coming to my great state. Especially from California. They ruined their state then come here and vote the same way. It's like they learned nothing.

I wouldn’t worry about it that much. They came out there for cheap real estate and low taxes w/r/t to their main revenue streams. Nothing will essentially change in that arrangement I imagine. Of course, people care a lot about cultural signifiers and such so many think there is something materially different between a purple-haired weirdo doing the same things as a hayseed.

Texas is going to eventually be the land of transplanted California socialists and hispanics. Any of you conservative cowboy types will have to move or adapt.

or you could move to Montana and become a dental floss farmer

Mississippi’s cities all kinda suck in my experience. Not much to them even compared to Alabama’s cities. Feel like you go to Mississippi when you don’t like humanity and want to live in the middle of nowhere.

Depends on what you like. I grew up in Hoover/Birmingham and hardly recognize it anymore and don't think I would ever move back. I like my low cost of living, small community, short commute, cheap land, etc. in Mississippi. Somehow we make do without a Target.

Uh, Jackson has been totally hijacked by liberals. They have the city council , the crazy lib mayor etc etc. They have destroyed that city and soft on crime. It’s why myself and most left.

I hated Hoover when I lived there. Frankly, I'm more sympathetic to the mindset you mentioned.

Another fun fact I read today-

The Atlanta Metro statistical area has a higher population than the entire state of Alabama. By over a million.
