If we are #1 it must be a down year for offensive lines

I gotta tell ya...I don't see that for us at all. Like anywhere close really .

Last year we had a rock solid LT that's in the NFL now. This year we'll have an undersized dude that's been more comfy at RT or even guard now trying to man LT. Our RT this year will be a guy that was a guard last year. Bobo at Center was one of the biggest surprises of the year so no worries with him. Glover at guard came on nicely last year and our other guard is a TR that hasn't played a down.

Potential? yeah there's potential. But "best OL in 2026?" sitting here in July? I'd be shocked.

How do you even do that when they haven't played a game nor seen how the offensive line coach adjusts during the game. I think I'll rank something using arbitrary metrics and see if I can get it published. What do y'all need me to rank and I'll get on it?

Pretty sure Georgia will be top 5 or close as long as Kirby is there.

Texas has the #1 overall LT, #1 overall RT and a top 10 RG

Georgia’s not better than that

Our OL should be better but we had nowhere to go but up. For those who may not know, this will likely be the starting lineup:

Trevor Goosby LT Jr (likely 1st round pick) Returning Starter - STUD!
Laurence Seymore LG 6th Yr Senior (Portal 2 yr starter from Western Kentucky)
Connor Robertson C 5th year senior - Returning Starter
Brandon Baker RG JR (former 5*) Returning Starter moving from RT
Melvin Siani RG Senior Portal from Wake Forest (23rd ranked in Portal -started 13 games)

Texas fans are unique. All about preseason stats and stuff. It’s time Texas fans for your team to actually prove something. I’ll tip my hat to you when they do.

Until then, pipe down.

OLine can be hard to predict. You can have someone do great one season and mediocre the next.

I think its really dependent on who starts next to each other having time to work with them. If you have a weak player then the really good one has to compensate for them and it can hurt them a lot trying to do too much to cover weaker one.

Pinched a nerve Horn-fan didn’t I? Should have stayed in the Big 12. OU will beat you, Tennessee will beat you, LSU will beat you and there will be another slip up like last year in Florida.

Leonard’s Losers- Texas.

Mizzou has All American LT back in Cayden Green, plus two other starters that helped Hardy get 1600 yards, plus Roberts had another 700 yards. LOL
