Meh. Who gives a shite? Will be fun to have the flexibility to have the best game of the week be a night game instead of always in the 3:30 slot.

At the rate ESPN’s collapsing, the SEC might actually miss CBS at some point.

What are the chances of Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC?

I think some of Serraneaux's old alters have become self aware and are now operating independently.

Not the same without Verne anyway.

Keith Jackson, Howard Cosell, Pat Summerall, John Madden, etc.

The football voices of my younger days.

ESPN is not collapsing. It's the one money maker Disney has.

Ummm, y'all do know CBS still has the SEC this year, right? They are working in some Big10 games, but SEC game of the week is still CBS.

Agreed. It’s just 14 games each season. Now at Primetime for 5x the income.

I don't even know who these announcers are now.
I grew up with
ABC-Chris Schenkel/Bud Wilkinson
Keith Jackson/ Ara Parseghian/Frank broyles

CBS- Pat Summerall/Tom Brookshier/John Madden
Lindsey Nelson/Paul Hornung
Brent Musberger/Pat Haden

NBC- Curt Gowdy/Al Deregottis
Dick Enberg/Merlin Olsen
Don Criqui/Bob Trumpy
Dave Dials/Jack Whittaker did the postgame with the scores on the wall as the camera panned down.

I don't even care who broadcasts now.

CBS about to realize that the insane SEC fanatics made CBS 3pm elite and not the other way around.
