I've heard about the Midnight Yell for years.
But I'd never actually seen it until a few weeks ago. What I thought it was and what it actually is are extremely different.
I thought it was just some normal pep rally shite at midnight. Turns out it's more like some weird ritual about conforming no matter how heavy the homosexual overtones are.

To be fair, I am not sure Texas has a dildo swinging protest every friday midnight before football games and has half a stadium show up for it. A pretty impressive percentage of A&M students show up for that shite.

Same here. When I went to College Station for the 2014 LSU/Aggiie game, I wasn't as aware of it. Being at the game, I did think some of the things they were doing were a little weird, but I didn't give it much thought.
I was under the assumption that it was a standard pep rally that we are all accustomed to from our high school days.
Once I actually saw it, I was very very disturbed.

Lots of my wife’s family went there. Can be fairly normal people until they start talking aggie. Get a group from the corps together and it’s best to slowly back out of the room. Thanks for their service though but yikes.

I am sure it is all promoted by the UT, attended by 10s of thousands of Texas students and streamed online as a sense of pride for the school? Not so sure about that.
