I mean it’s ridiculous.

Every year they take someone’s spot and they never are the real deal.

We need to make them join a conference or not play them.

oh but wait! Brian kelly should have never left right? LOL
He’s getting the last laugh today and will laugh even harder when he becomes the 4th straight LSU coach to win a natty.

Man, stop awarding Brian Kelly a NC just bc ND got there, BK couldn’t get there with a Heisman

They made it to a championship in a 12 team playoff. They’ve done historically better than A&M

Notre Dame did. Now you’re claiming Notre Dame’s record as Kelly’s? You’re all over the place

A&M lost to ND. Say why you’re really mad.

It certainly doesn't pay to schedule a decent OOC team if you have playoffs aspirations.

Maybe we need to take scheduling out of the hands of teams and conference heads.

A&M continues to be one of the most pathetic of fanbases and programs

College Football is my favorite sport.

Watching Texas play football is my passion. Period. End of story.

I have a lifetime of memories of Texas playing every quality football games against the good, and great football teams, in the history of the sport. I have seen a parade of so many great players that played, ... great, and were entertaining, win or lose, regardless of who they played for.

We won & lost, in a lot of cases when 1 loss removed you from NC considerations.

Back in the day, the only teams that played on TV were the ones that played in big games.

Texas scheduled good teams because the Texas fans wanted to watch good games, not because they were on TV.

Texas fell short this year. I'm a little disappointed.

In SEC Country, they were a failure. I disagree.

But I paid my money (season tickets and NIL, not a Fed-Ex box or a Whataburger bag full of cash) by choice, and I am content.

I got to see Texas play Georgia (SEC Champion) & Florida & Kentucky, In Austin, teams that historically never play west of I-35. I enjoyed Vanderbilt; always like playing the Academic Schools with the smart kids.

I got to see Texas play Oklahoma, A&M and Arkansas, our 3 long time rivals, in the same year for the 1st time since Arkansas left the SWC.

I got to see Texas play Defending National Champion Michigan in Ann Arbor (#1 Away game experience), National Champion Ohio State, ACC Champion Clemson & B12 Champion Arizona State.

My cup runneth over. And we finished Top 5 in the country, again.

Oh, and yes, we have aspirations, beyond just making the playoffs.

Texas never shied away from competition, and we aren't going to start now.

They got in because you lost to them.

If you beat them that’s South Carolina’s spot.

The best way to get them out is to be one of the teams that beats them.

If you polled every CFB fan in the country it would be a unanimous opinion that ND needs to join a conference.

If you don't want to see them in the playoffs, you should beat them when you have the chance.

Right?

They beat Georgia and Penn State in the Playoffs.
How did they steal a spot?
