I admit I'm sold on his talent. That being said, he'll likely not began to perform at the level he's capable of until his second or third year.
If he starts this year, I'd expect moments of brilliance mixed in with struggles, muchike any other highly talented freshman at his position.

Since the 92 Merger, I can only think of 3 true Freshman QB's doing real well in the SEC:
Danny Wuerffel
Peyton Manning
Eric Ainge

Elite 11 MVP. Obviously something there. Assuming he redshirts, Bama fans should pray Coker gets the job. Take one year of "Coke-siah" and you get 4 years of Blake Barnett as your starter.
