The only one that really jumps out as out of place to me is nebraska

No Urban @ OSU is why UMich is ranked so high. I got nothing for the other two, especially the Bugeaters.

Nebraska fans are convinced this is the year that passing offense takes off and they win the Big 10

Oregon is easy. First round pick at QB and the most experienced offensive line in CFB in quite a few years. Also more talented than most teams on their schedule.
Nebraska looked a lot better later in the year, people are assuming a second year leap with their experienced QB being in Frost system for another offseason
No clue.

Despite thinking the ranking is suspect I’d say those are good points as well. And that low in the top 25 with the parity of today’s game it becomes who the hell are you going to put there. Particularly in the preseason.

They went 0-12 the year before he got there. They went 12-0 in his second year.
They went 0-12 b/c George O'Leary was mentally checked out and didn't want to be HC anymore. He had already tried to retire right after the previous season but UCF brass talked him into staying. The three seasons before the 0-12 season UCF went 10-4, 12-1, and 10-4 so it's not like there was zero talent on the team that Frost had to work super hard to build back up.
Not saying that Frost isn't any good as a coach just that his turn around skills might be a little exaggerated.

You’re laughing at Florida’s ranking and not questioning LSU being ranked above them? Didn’t the two play head to head last season?
And there’s absolutely no change in the teams from last season?

Ogre is still your coach.

Oregon is getting a pass on inconsistency because the offense went through a big philosophy change.
I think we’re a little overrated. I also think Oregon could be really, really good. The trenches are great and there is more depth than they’ve had since Chip.

11) Oregon
Oregon could have a monster season this year. If they get past Auburn, and I think Auburn has the better team but we've all seen games where Malzahn goes haywire, then they have a really good shot at running the table.
Or they could win 7 games and be a major disappointment.
Their returning talent looks good, they have a highly ranked recruiting class coming in... 11ish sounds about right for them.

24) Nebraska
This one I have a bit of trouble with. The schedule does set up nicely for them and they either avoid the class of the conference or get it at home.
That having been said they were neck and neck with Arkansas and Rutgers in the race to be the worst P5 team for the first half of the season. Yes, they did much better at the end of the year but they still only won 4 games. I feel you should at least have a winning record the previous year to make the preseason 25.

7)Michigan
The thorn in their side, Urbz at Ohio State, is gone. Their schedule is just presentable enough they have a shot at the CFP with a loss somewhere along the way.

This is what's wrong polls. I think Frost will turn Nebraska around quick, but they should still have to earn a rank, and Nebraska hasn't done that, yet.

What does #24 usually end up at? 8-5? I don't see how Frost and Nebraska improving by 4 wins is that much of a stretch

You geniuses questioning why he pointed out Florida, he included Michigan who Florida throttled to show how weird the polls are having Michigan higher than UF.
