Nebraska is in a shite division...Will not be surprised if they challenge for winning their division.

Nebraska could have been 9-3
They lost the opener on a hail Mary type play after Martinez went down. He had to fight back from injury through the early part of the season.

Him healthy they don’t lose to Troy

Then they lose at NW by 3 in OT
At tOSU by 5 and they had the game and let it slip
At Iowa by 3 again couldn’t close the door.

Most Feel Martinez will be much better and Healthy; and Frost will get the team to win those close games this year.

They should be 4-0 when tOSU comes to town in September. They don’t get Michigan or PSU; they can easily win 10 or 11.

ESPN has them favored in every game except tOSU and Minnesota.

The PAC12 will come down to Washington, Oregon, and UTAH

Oregon doesn’t draw Utah.. so let’s say they lose to Washington and Auburn. That’s 10-2 and still top 15 probably. So 11 is about right.

Michigan, they are the favorite by B10 media. So. There’s that.

Florida, I think the young secondary is there issue. But you never know. I think they are a little high. But we will know in 5 days.

The media can’t just let the top 14 teams all be from the SEC

This. Working their way down the top 25 they get more desperate to put non-SEC teams in.

Nebraska is one of the easier ones to buy among the previously unranked teams being ranked this year.

They weren't anywhere near the bottom of P5 teams last year; they had some weird, shitty breaks-- the Maryland game was just a ridiculous way to lose, and they had very talented teams beaten late, but proved unable to close. They return a veteran quarterback, and don't have to improve all that much, to make a 4 game swing an easy feat.

Perhaps a little. I can see why you want to be cautious and not get ahead of your skis. The Ducks don't quite have their swagger back yet but there's certainly plenty of reason to think they are well on their way back.

I also think Oregon could be really, really good.

Same. It should be a fun year to watch unfold.

The real interesting stat I saw re: the Pac 12 was that USC is unranked in a preseason poll for the first time since 2001, Pete Carroll's first season.

The Huskies and Ducks are on top until proven otherwise.

As someone else in this thread stated, they can't put all the SEC teams in the top 14 so a little diversity is required.
