I guess if they can find a much improved coaching staff they can. But as it stands their head coach is Pete Golding, so I don’t think the chances are all that great.

Pete looked like he was about to start a dynasty yesterday. I’ve never seen ole Miss look better.

Last time, our offense did whatever it wanted the first 45 minutes of the game, if the defense can adjust and get a few outs, very good chance.

They were playing a G5 team they had already beaten 45-10.

I have no idea if the coaching staff really is much improved, but yes you can upset UGA. Ole Miss has talent and they are playing well.

If really like their chances if the UGA players go on strike and the school brings in Tulane replacement players

Except for the last time they played Tulane and hung 45 on them that time? With Lane as head coach?

It’ll be tougher this time with Georgia getting healthy.

It’ll also be easier not having 85,000 dawgs yelling at ‘em this time around.

The issue was UGA’s offense did whatever it wanted for 60 minutes of the game.

Ole Miss led UGA for 3 quarters last time but we can't rely on that recipe again. UGA is playing really good ball right now. Ole Miss is better defensively than they were last time they played so we will see.

No, because you’re giving too much credit to the X’s and O’s and not enough to the Jimmy and Joes

Superdome will be 65-35 Rebs. A lot different than playing in Athens.

Why did Ole Miss not go hard after Charlie Weis Jr.? They keep Pete Golding, who clearly said he had zero ambition to be the head coach. They keep all the offensive talent and keep their philosophy as an offensive juggernaut going forward. No worry about poaching great OCs and star QBs.

Ole Miss did not think this through. This one will be revisited.

Lane walked to Weiss’s office and said get on the plane or you won’t have a job at LSU before he left the Ole Miss football offices. In BR stuck a contract/MOU in his face that had a big buyout and CWJ signed it. At that point he had no choice. Ole Miss did want him back.

But JDB is off the Kiffin/Briles tree and is the same system and has a lot of success at ECU this year. The offense will look very similar.

Who do you think actually recruited these players? Kiffin is an incredible play caller, but you'll find out he only personally invests his time or effort in recruiting 3-4 players a year
