Other than the LSU game, Auburn hasn't technically played what I would consider bad. With that said, could this Saturday be a let down game for the tigers as Mississppi state rolls into the plains? Vegas has Auburn as a 6 point favorite, but they did as well when State played at Arkansas.

The State/Auburn has flown under the radar, but has given us some really iconic games over the past few years. Leach's second half miracle a few years ago, Cadillac almost beating us last year, and of course the 3-2 debacle a while ago. That being said. If Rogers doesn't start this week (and even if does), I don't see us winning.

Sure, it's always possible in the SEC. I would be incredibly surprised if it isn't a low scoring game. Whoever's defense breaks first will probably be the loser.

It's possible...nay probable that our defense has turned into the top defense in the SEC suddenly.

MSU 10

Auburn 7

good job putting UPSET in quotes - IMO this should be a pick'em type game.

If you score 17 pts, you win.

Over/under on both teams crossing the opponent’s 35 yard line.

Vegas knows where to place line in order to get the most action on both sides so they can make the most $$.

They don't know the outcome of the games but they certainly know how gamblers bet in order to make money.

I'd pick whoever is the home team to get the win and that's Auburn. Auburn is about to roll off 4 straight wins heading into the Iron Bowl and they're facing an Alabama team with a bad LT and an OL that's struggled with pre-snap penalties on the road. Played 4 of their top 5 opponents in consecutive weeks.

Auburn could legitimately go 7-5 from 3-4 and could even go 8-4 if they draw the worst rendition of 2023 Alabama offense.

It can't be worse than the 7-3 debacle we just witnessed. Can it?

I remember in ‘97 when we had a pretty good team (ended up finding our way into the SECCG) and State came into Jordan-Hare and kicked our arse 20-0. I don’t ever get cocky with State. I was in Jordan Hare 2 years ago when we led 28-3 in the first half and fricking lost.

What’s the status of Rogers? If he plays, state probably wins. If he doesn’t, it’ll be a toss up.

Auburns defense isn’t bad… if WR is out and Auburn wins the turnover battle, I think we win… but it will be ugly, and I wouldn’t be shocked at all of state pulls it out.

Our defense has been bad all season except for Arkansas. We will have to see if we can do better to have a chance.

Plus it being in Jordan hard home of the most cheating in the sec with the horniest coach can only spell trouble.
