I know you guys hate him because you weren’t very good this year but what decisions did he make that sunk the program so fast after tPear?

I don’t follow basketball but he doesn’t seem to be able to recruit a high level, what promising freshmen we did have didn’t play or improve throughout the year.

Not sure why we don’t likie him. He definitely drew a band hand. He could be a great coach.
There were not great adjustment during games this year and that is what a lot of people are feeling.

Okay......there are 2 major schools of thought on McMahon:
1. He walked into a bad situation that is STILL unresolved. Let's see what it looks like after year 3.
2. He sucks because he's not Will Wade and Wade did nothing wrong or illegal and even if he did its legal now so it doesn't matter and Scott Woodward is a worthless pussy and I'm a McNeese fan until Woodward is fired.

I guess you can figure out which camp I fall in.

Now, if this all blows over and there are no consequences I would be all over Will Wade coming back to LSU.

The worst thing he did was beat Arkansas.

That set the year 1 expectations way too high, IMO.

It's like some of our fanbase is in severe need of either psych meds or Midol.

You see the same raging tantrums directed at our QB, who just led the team to the West title and a win over Bama. And now beginning to be aimed at the baseball team, for daring to lose a game on the road against a ranked team.

So many want only what they want, and if they don't get their way, they lose their fricking minds. QBs suck if they don't match Burrow. Baseball team is a flop if they don't sweep. Basketball coach is terrible because Wade had them in the NCAA tourney.

Wade did this to himself, and fricked the university in the process. He lawyered up and refused to talk to the AD or Board of Supervisors, when the story broke. Not just the NCAA, but actual LSU administration. How anyone can blame LSU for cutting bait on him after that, is beyond me. Any school in their right mind would have got rid of the cancer, as soon as they had an opening in the contract to do so. You don't put up with that bullshite, not for a guy who never coached into the second weekend.
And I say that, as a guy who liked Wade when he was here; but he turned on the school.
Kansas and Arizona talked it out with their coaches, and lined everything up, and THEN told the NCAA to frick off. Wade could have went that route. He didn't.

LSU made one of the best hires possible, on paper, when considering the circumstances. The team steadily improved down the stretch of conference play. I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable if I were an lsu fan

Most.

Most of your fanbase.

Most of them need both.

His expectation was just be middle of pack and at least threaten a NIT bid, the fricking loser won two games and he has the 51st ranked recruiting class. The guy sucks and we got worse as the year wore on. His offense is boring as frick, the guy is a zombie on the sideline.

As far as I can tell, not much. Once you take away the fact that No one seems to want to be around him. Maybe he doesn't pay?

Because he sucks. But our “
fans will say he was “dealt a bad hand” but k-states coach got their team with only 2 players returning from last years roster and they are in the sweet 16. Same thing for gates at Mizzou and they made the round of 32. Fat Scotty bent the knee to the NCAA and now we’re stuck with McMild. Dude is in WAYYYYY over his head
