I don't know anything about Steven Pearl, other than he just looks like exactly what you described.

Todd Golden will get a hard look when Bruce's time is over.

Steven Pearl is more involved in the coaching than most realize. Next time out look to the sideline and see who is doing coaching instructions and watch what is covered on the sideline during the game. I do not think he is ready to take over a program, but he is doing what is necessary to make the next move in a few years. My guess he will take a job at a smaller program in a couple of years and build on his resume. Flannagan is next up in the Auburn line.

Being a dickhead has absolutely nothing to do with coaching talent. Just ask Bobby Knight, Nick Saban, and Kirby Smart.

Then you can drive down to Orlando and go get some hash-browns scattered, smothered, and covered with “nice guy” Gus Malzahn.

And Big Kat's momma will probably be serving them, then finish you off in the WH bathroom.

He is nothing like Bruce from a personality/likability standpoint.

As well liked/loved as Bruce is/was in Knoxville, Steven is just as disliked.

Just not a very nice guy and doesn’t pretend to be. One of the cockiest people of all time, too.

Auburn is very lucky Steven is just taking up a spot on the staff instead of somehow getting playing time on a top 25 team over a host of 4 stars at his position.

They can't sustain a football program, let alone basketball. Once show cause retires they'll be back to the basement where they've always been.

And the only reason they were able to get him as a coach is because literally no other school wanted anything to do with him.

It’s definitely helping Auburn that GT and UGA won’t commit to hiring great basketball coaches. Kudos to Auburn for seizing the opportunity.

I mean it’s hard to sustain a program after a special coach. Mike White’s having a time of it.

Pearl doesn’t seem like the retire early type.

Great list, but definitely before my time, lol... although I did get to see REM, Hoodoo Gurus, Huey Lewis and the News, and The Cult/Lenny Kravitz at that loveable dump of a place. Oh, and Pauly Shore too

Get caught doing what? Find a booster that has a business to pay players? That's legal, dumb arse.

You should probably go back and review what Auburn got caught doing again. Then check on what he got caught doing at Tennessee. Hint neither are “legal” under NIL rules.

Neither Auburn, nor Bruce Pearl got caught doing anything. An assistant got caught lining his own pockets by trying to pimp out current players and only after he was approached by an FBI informant with the proposal. It had nothing to do with Pearl or Auburn and didn’t help the team in any way.

The actual violation at Tennessee was minor and is no longer a violation. However, he has to own not only lying to the ncaa, but encouraging others to as well.
