Yes, depending on the context of all other teams at season's end.

UGA didn’t even win their division of their conference. Something that should prevent any team from playing in a 2 or 4 team championship series.

and a Georgia team that loses to Oregon and Miss State isn’t beating an undefeated Alabama.

8/4 just beat an undefeated bama, so this is kind of stupid to say

LSU had a ton of talent, guys who went on to have good NFL careers. Arkansas had probably the most talented RB corps in SEC history. Georgia had Stafford and Knowshown Moreno. A lot of very good teams that year.

Waaaahhhh wwwaaaaahhhhhgg WAAAAHHHHHH… OMG! Not fair Bama shoulda been okie state… OMG waaahhhhh we shouldn’t have had to play the best team.. oh oh oh it hurts like the 50 yard line had stickers… oh SEC office, BCS, ESPN hates us cheating vote, mumble mumble waaaahhhh… LSU was cheated by being shut out 21-0 it doesn’t count, should be co-champs, 2nd place ring, waaaaahhhhhhh

Good god… it’s been over ten years. Isn’t it time to just admit LSU had the second best team that year? No? I guess it will be an emotional tear-streaked denial forever.

It could happen given a lot of other factors but if it did ever happen the screeching from those left out would be incredible.

2007 LSU was the first team in college football history to defeat 6 teams that FINISHED in the top 15, not 25, top 15 in the AP poll. I don't know if it has been done since then, but I know they were the first. So kick rocks, troll.

Most certainly a 2 loss sec champ could make it but it depends on the quality of their wins/loses and the other P5 champions or at larges having loses as well
