Saban had a vote and Gundy did not

What the hell? This is the first I’ve heard of this. Any proof?

There are a bunch of Old Articles regarding it this is just 1. You can Google them.

Just Saban putting Okie St 4 didn’t do it, but it was really close. If he had put them 3rd like everyone else I. The country put them 2nd or 3rd and Gundy had a vote to put themselves 2nd. The difference as it was was 0.0086 points.

This is a main reason the CFP decided to take it out of the coaches hands.

History shows us that a 1 loss SECCG loser still gets in

while true that's very deceiving. It's only happened once, last year. And in that instance, the team that lost was a clear unanimous #1 for pretty much the entire season. In order ot drop them from 1 to 5, it would require a lot of other great teams filling the 2-4 spots. The only other team last year that we were competing against for a playoff spot would be a 1-loss Notre Dame, but we had a much better resume than them. If Notre Dame, or even OSu, had better resumes last year then we don't make the playoffs.
