Why does he get away with holding so much more than anybody else? He's so big & slow & when he gets beat he tackles the D-lineman from behind or grabs on like he's drowning in quicksand.
If I notice it I know the refs do? Never gets a penalty & it's so obvious. . It could've changed the outcome of the Tenn game - at least 2 "missed" BIG calls @ critical times.

He's probably been called for more penalties than anybody on Bama's whole team.

Grabbing a defensive end by the back of their jersey and holding on for dear life as they chase the QB is not holding for Alabama. Clearly.

He's a pretty terrible oline man. Will probably be the sole reason Ala loses Nov 7th

Injured. Has been injuried since fall camp and should have given it a few weeks off but never did. I'm 90% positive that is the reason for his drop in production this year.
I don't blame him, and appreciate him giving it his all if that's the case, but the lack of replacement at LT is a knock on our recruiting/coaching staff.

Can't wait to see the board explode for weeks after the LSU loss with video proof of every single missed call that should have gone against Bama. Tivo will probably crash in Louisiana during the game with all the rewinding going on.

Isn't that the point? He can't block so he holds all the time and it obvious it's not called at critical times costing Tennessee the game. With that loss Bama's season would be headed to the Peach Bowl

He's literally called for 100% more holding calls than any of Bama's SEC opponents. Every team holds, he just needs to get better at getting away with it.
