Not sure why people think it's cool to shite on women's sports

Not shitting on women's sports but the quality is never going to be up to the men's counterpart. We can be honest about that and still appreciate players like Caitlin.

But it's also why comparing her to Pete is dumb.

Yep exactly. Women have physical limitations. I don't understand why libs and feminists can't publicly admit this. Likewise, feeling threatened by Caitlin's accomplishments is very insecure.

Apples and Oranges. Smaller basketball, different size players not anywhere near the same speed.

She is a great women’s basketball player. Maybe the best. But she doesn’t hold a candle to Pistol Pete. I saw him play in person against the Cats when I was a kid. We had Dan Issel and he was a great player too.

Women’s basketball is not very competitive. You have complete mismatches and blowouts you don’t see as often in men’s ball. Pete had none of that.

The other day a tranny was playing against girls and was hurting them. It was totally unfair. Point is the men’s game is completely different.

A game that starts at noon, I doubt it.

If Pete were alive today (RIP), why would these two play one on one? Why would anyone think that a professional level woman would compete with a professional level male? I wouldn't worry over it so much.

Why are you comparing records if they aren’t comparable?

Rhetorical answer - LSU.

The NCAA has come out & stated that it maintains separate records for females' & mens' play. "There is no one set of records for both sexes". As for "SEC related? It's called the National record for good reason.

She’s not even the all time leading scorer in Women’s Basketball. The NCAA won’t recognize AIAW stats, which is ridiculous.

Coach knew what he was doing getting the technical. He wanted the record broken so they could focus on playing basketball. Feel bad for the people that bet on the record being broken in the 2nd half.

Meh it’s both basketball and it’s an interesting comparison to just show how insane she’s been. Pete did it with no three point line but way more shots. I highly doubt this place would melt down this much if a dude was about to break the record

If they had a chance to play one on one. Pete would destroy her. Females are inferior to men in any sport. If Pete set those records at Bama, you wouldn't have typed your post.

Literally none of the trolls about this actually believe their nonsense but you’re getting offended and giving them more reason to keep going.

No actual sports fan views WBB and MBB as the same sport. Maybe some of the woke leftists in the media that would never buy tickets to a women’s bball game, but that’s about it.

Add that to a list of things the NCAA does that is retarded *but* my guess would be that when the AIAW dissolved and the NCAA took over the women's side of things, they knew more than a few men's records would be replaced and didn't want the controversy. People are barely ok with it in 2024 -- 50 years after the merger.
