We all like to also thank UGA for perennially underachieving, so multiple schools coauld take player after player from the state of Georgia over the years.

And we would like to thank y'al for pissing our donor base off enough with your constant state-raiding that we fired a perennial 10 win coach for a guy that has all but shut down the state of GA which was long though to be impossible. Doesn't hurt that we've also signed the #1 players in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania the past couple of years.

SEC Champs, Playoff contenders, AND a good shot at the #1 recruiting class? This all sure feels as nice as we thought it would

There's a thread on the recruiting board about him. He's going to need a lot of work in the weight room and practice field. Size wise he's a monster, but he's lazy. He had 40+ penalties called on him this year, and that's even more magnified when you look at the competition he played(with the exception of 2 teams) this year. That being said, it does suck losing a 5 star in state kid who's family is big time TN fans. Good luck to him breaking your 2 deep.

Tennessee, thanks for not getting Greg Schiano (#3 recruiter this season).

It helped us with Mays.

He will have to earn it.

But, we have the best OL coach in the business coaching kids up.

What he did with our OL in his second season is amazing (true freshman at RT, redshirt freshman at RG, converted DL at C, and an undersized LT).

By most accounts I've heard about him, this will be the issue. I'm sure he's talented, thus the 5 star rating; but he's spent the better part of the past few years being/looking dominant b/c he's just bigger and taller than the guy across the line from him. He looked pretty pedestrian in the 2 games this year against good competition, and like I mentioned before, had 40+ penalties called on him this year the bulk of which were holding. Lazy has been used several times to describe him, which doesn't bode well for having to "earn it".

Kid has the tools for sure but he should not be rated as a 5 star. He got pushed around a lot and is a very immature kid at this point. I would imagine that he will improve with the proper coaching. Will probably be a solid player at some point.

The Mays family is pretty trashy, so it's a good fit for him.

This was an issue with Ben Cleveland, along with a stigma of softness, but a year and a half under Pittman and he's now whooping arse.

I trust Sam :yessirrrrr:

Obviously to be expected, but there are some sour Vols in this thread.

It was for the OL. John Theus was a 4 star OT. He was the best offensive line recruit that we signed (out of Florida) for a decade.

We are stacking talent in the trenches to go along with the talent that we had been signing all along. It is a big difference being top 10 in the country (top 4 in conference) to #1 in conference and top 3 in the country.

The only problem Georgia has had is keeping its players out of jail..Hopefully Kirby can do just that. I'm pulling for the guy, would be great to see the East have a team
