I’m not sure I agree but I admit I’ve followed from a distance. I feel like y’all have gone old guy in the biz, and it was time to rejuvenate. That’s why I never understood the Corbin love. I think I read somewhere that the kid’s dad is close with Tony too. Point of my post was that there’s no way people from “his side” were telling recruits he’s leaving when he/they are actively adding blue chip prospects and transfers to the roster. He or Sexton might have(and still could be) having discussions with LSU, but no one is telling these kids he’s leaving.

Where have you heard anything about TN telling recruits he’s leaving? Hell he’s gotten two blue chip recruits and picked up a transfer pitcher, and rumors of adding the catcher from KY that just entered the portal. That’s exactly the opposite of telling recruits he’s leaving.

Vols just got a commitment from a top 2024 in state prospect Amari Jefferson. That’s a few days after the Mizzou transfer and a kid last week. I’ve said it here before and I’ll say it again, if LSU calls you definitely give it a hard listen and most likely make the move; but they are certainly working as if they’ll be in Knoxville and not Baton Rouge.

Kress knows nothing. Basilio is the one to follow here. He and Vitello are close. Yesterday was the first day he’s mentioned LSU; and he’s right, if LSU calls your name to be the man, you go.
Unfortunately I think you are right. He has always said he wants to build his own thing though, which is what a lot of TN fans are hanging on to
