Just locked up lodging, now cranking up the search for tickets

Bump…anyone have anything available? Just secured our Airbnb so we are definitely in need now.

Is it the same crew that worked the Auburn - Penn State game?

Don’t think so, but they were the same crew that did the Memphis/Miss State game

re: SEC’s punishment for VOLS announced

There should be a push to punish the fricking morons who did it. Tens of thousands in fines, restitution and court costs would deter any other moron from ruining it for the rest of us.

They are reviewing footage and arresting people. 18 have been arrested thus far. If they were a student, they face potential bans from future games.

From what I saw last year, Bailey is a more polished passer, but it seems the staff wants to stick with their hand picked QB transfer no matter what.

He really showed out on those 2yd check downs didn’t he. He fricking sucks and should just go ahead and transfer to Ga Tech.

go back and check my posts, I have always been ABV (anybody but Vitello). He is not what this program needed at this time.

I’m not sure I agree but I admit I’ve followed from a distance. I feel like y’all have gone old guy in the biz, and it was time to rejuvenate. That’s why I never understood the Corbin love. He’s great no doubt; but ho hum, at least in the hire for length regard bc he’s 60. Tony knows how to get the younger crowd involved; and more importantly for the team, knows how to recruit. That’s why I was worried until y’all announced. I dont know much at all about JJ so he might be a perfect fit. Good luck gents

I'll be honest - that Texas game was a real shitshow. If Vitello got that offer from LSU and didn't say yes and then put on that episode of Cobra Kai on national TV, I can totally understand Woodward moving on. If in fact it happened that way.

What is this cobra Kai connotation you are trying to make, bc that didn’t make sense
Lol, quite the pivot from this and the sec boards posts’ a few hours ago.
I think I read somewhere that the kid’s dad is close with Tony too. Point of my post was that there’s no way people from “his side” were telling recruits he’s leaving when he/they are actively adding blue chip prospects and transfers to the roster. He or Sexton might have(and still could be) having discussions with LSU, but no one is telling these kids he’s leaving.
quote:

Two days ago his side was telling recruits he's heading to LSU. I think UT increased their offer so now we sit and wait.

Where have you heard anything about TN telling recruits he’s leaving? Hell he’s gotten two blue chip recruits and picked up a transfer pitcher, and rumors of adding the catcher from KY that just entered the portal. That’s exactly the opposite of telling recruits he’s leaving.
quote:

They probably would have if it weren't for that dirty player Omar Payne from Illinois.

Well played

If we can replace Chandler 2023 should be more complete.

They are sure getting some kids on campus that could be replacement options, but the folks around Chandler have been saying he’s not a one and done. Reports are that Chandler is Rick’s best player since KD and is TJ Ford’esq. They are going to rely heavily on him. Sounds like Cason Wallace might jump on board soon.

What'd they steal?

He and a few others beat up a drug dealer. They were suspended from the team for the spring.

Much better to have him inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.

Lol that’s a great analogy.
quote:

If Vitello's agent hasn't reached out to express interest in the LSU job then he should be fired on the spot. Vitello is in the midst of his career year at the same time one of the most lucrative jobs in his profession becomes available. If I'm Vitello's agent I'm doing EVERYTHING possible to get LSU to offer my client a huge contract...even if Vitello has no interest whatsoever in leaving Tennessee

This is golden LEVERAGE opportunity. Possibly the best he will EVER get in his career. When those opportunities come around you use them for all they are worth. Even if he does not want to become the LSU HC.

His agent is Jimmy Sexton. You know he’s working all angles.
Vols just got a commitment from a top 2024 in state prospect Amari Jefferson. That’s a few days after the Mizzou transfer and a kid last week. I’ve said it here before and I’ll say it again, if LSU calls you definitely give it a hard listen and most likely make the move; but they are certainly working as if they’ll be in Knoxville and not Baton Rouge.

It’s McDonnell

Man I hope you’re right! This has been a fun Spring for us and I’d like to be able to do it again next year and not in 15+ years. I can understand it if TV goes though.
Kress knows nothing. Basilio is the one to follow here. He and Vitello are close. Yesterday was the first day he’s mentioned LSU; and he’s right, if LSU calls your name to be the man, you go.

Unfortunately I think you are right. He has always said he wants to build his own thing though, which is what a lot of TN fans are hanging on to
