This LSU team lets teams back into games too easily, though, too. See the Florida and Texas games where they thought they had insurmountable leads late and just seemed to stop playing

It really is weird - it's like they only play with urgency when it is necessary. And boy when they do they turn it up a notch.
They are basically the opposite of front runners, which is great, but you gotta a LITTLE bit of the other too.

They take minute-long breaks from playing defense. They don’t shoot from three well, but have some people who can get hot. And overall, they don’t have great effort or coaching.
They might surprise a team here or there, but mostly they’re a Sweet 16 ceiling type team.
