We beat everyone too badly and made their offenses pulse less.

Failure. I don't care that we lost the starting QB and 4/5 of the OL. Run the ball a little more instead of putting the game in the hands of a backup time and time again and we have a much better year. At least 10-2 ...

Fisher failed this year.

Better than expected, but now I think we should have won more.

very disappointing.

O line never gelled and had solid protection against even talented teams. You can't let a 3 man line dominate.

Jimbo seemingly forgot about running the ball at LSU. That was crazy to me.

So many dropped passes. Sure, Calzada slings fire, but it's their job to catch it.

It was a long year and I would have been in misery had it gone down with A&M winning at LSU and Bama losing at Auburn. We would have thrown an opportunity to be in the SECCG.

What a wasted year.

You can talk about injuries (QB) and inexperience (OL), but how does a team that was good enough to beat Alabama lose to Arkansas, State, Ole Miss, and a depleted LSU team? Worst season so far from Jimbo on the field. Have to hope that he recruits well enough to out talent some folks because he definitely got out coached several times this year.

Stunk. Wish we didn’t have to play LSU last game every year. More often than not they kick us in the balls.
And there are other things about the season we could discuss.

We pretty much sucked but stumbled our way to 6-6 without much of an offense. The last game was abysmal but we did beat Florida and Auburn and are going to a bowl.
Beating Auburn and being able to give Bobo the middle finger after the way he left last year was priceless.

10-2 The loss to Oregon at home in game 2 was the killer .I knew eventually Meatchicken would squeak one out against us after losing 15 of the last 16 to us . I really hope we get an SEC team in the NY 6 Bowl game we go to but Rose Bowl win snatch us up more than likely and they are hoping for a rematch vs Oregon ...But I want Ole Miss .Would love to hang 50 on Kiffin

Thought maybe 10-2, or 11-1. Probably drunk too much of the Mullen kool-aid and thought they could clip us, leaving us with losses to Clemson and UF.

We finish 12-0. How 'bout that?

I want the SEC and NC, but this feels fine, too. There are plenty of opportunities upcoming. Kirby has built something special.

Coming into the season, I thought there was a good chance we’d be feasting on a nice filet mignon this year. Instead, I had a shite sandwich shoved in my mouth right at the entrance.

I thought we would be lucky to win 5 games. Yet, but for a failed two point conversion, we would have finished 2nd in the West. We did vastly better than I thought we would this year.

In fact we did so well some of us are looking at the season and feel a bit bitter because we let some games slip away from us. We went from hoping to make a bowl game to shaking our heads at missed opportunities. That is a hell of a turn around.

Brutally honest opinion? If it comes out tomorrow that Pittman cures male pattern baldness simply by walking into a room I'd believe it because he has worked miracles at Arkansas.

I don't know why, but it seems like Mullen wanted out. Maybe he knows both our QB's suck or something. No idea.

I have thought the same thing. For what reason, dunno. However, it's now out in the open that he never liked/enjoyed recruiting and perhaps he'd had enough of it.

Getting $6 million up front to get fired can be alluring!

I’m personally disappointed. Giving up 6 points a game is completely unacceptable. Needs to be zero.

Defense improved
Offense regressed

We suck just enough to be lower-tier mediocre.
