Can't think of a better thing to happen to LSU football. Get's them out of the AD's boondoggle contract.

This. Better to be fired and get the money owed in a lump sum.

Although, his ego is strong. He could possibly make a jump if the job and $$$ were right. #ALIGNMENT.

I just don't see it. This feels like LSU fans are trying to will something into existence. You are stuck with the little angry Irishman unless you pay.

If Pedo State is willing to offer him similar compensation he might go for it. Although from their end the optics of paying Franklin $50 million to go away just to hire him again under a different name would be pretty bad. I don't see how they could sell that to their fans.

They just fired a guy who can't win big games.

Why would they hire the SEC's version of the same coach?

Unless they want to own the Citrus Bowl. Then he's their man.

That would be at best a lateral move hire if not a downgrade

I was curious why a Missouri fan was commenting on "big games" when they have never won a title or SEC title, and whose current coach is 2-2 in "prestigious" bowl games including the Armed Forces, Gasparilla, Cotton Bowl, and Music City.

That article must have been written by an LSU fan lol

Yeah... Willie T submitted it as an contract piece through ChatGPT's email function. Just hope he didn't include a graphic.

Yes Kiffin would be a good choice and we would have to look at a younger coach that can better relate to players. I would also look at the Iowa State coach who is young and really doing well there. I would also have to look at Blake Baker. I want a defensive minded coach who can hire a hot shot oc.

News Flash: Missouri doesn't pretend it's a blueblood like LSU and Pedo State fans do.

The sooner you come to grips who Big Game Brain is the better it'll be for you.

You should be praying Pedo tries to take him off your hands.

He'd be 65 and super expensive. He also only has two years of D4 experience.

Also, I think he's definitely a good coach but their schedule has made him probably look a little better than he really is.

He has Indiana rolling. Of course he is a good coach. The age thing is the only reason you shouldn't want him. Who cares if the schedule isn't on par with an sec schedule. If you go 10-2 at Indiana 2 years in a row you are a good coach.

Then you can just watch how well his team is coached.

Last week, Mizzou fans were telling us that college football has changed and they're a big dawg now, signing top end talent and everything.

One clown said only two jobs in CFB were definitely better than Mizzou.

Most of them are MIA now though.

Hard to believe. He hasn't done anything of substance.
