No. I’m just saying that a man like Kelly knows nothing about the South and our people. I’m sorry but I’ll be surprised if he lasts very long at LSU.
He will move on before he is shown the door. That was really cute when he faked that Southern accent. Nothing like a guy with a Boston accent insulting the entire South. His contempt will become even more obvious as time goes on

I’m not saying it is lost but kinda interesting that Kelly decimated the entire football operation in Baton Rogue when a lot of the off-field aspect seems to be working and had at least a tad of continuity going back for several decades.

I can't point to anything convincing on that front. Ed absolutely mailed it in the day after getting a payday. The current depth chart is a good indication of that.
There are still some good players but far too much attrition. The prototypical Ed achievement was Arik Gilbert.

That was more true under Miles. Ed made it a point to largely do everything the opposite. Easier practices. More access for bigger boosters.
Once Aranda departed the brains and discipline remaining were gone and the program fell apart.

Well, I don’t care if you’re from the North or the South… you, sir, are an idiot. I don’t care what accent he has! The guy has a proven record, he’s surrounded himself with a bunch of coaches and analysts who are from the South, and he will win. Saban is a yankee, and he seems to do just fine. This whole culture bullshite is dumb. Winning is the only culture that matters, and if you win, you’ll fit in just fine.
