Trey Palmer reportedly showed up to a workout late with a piss poor excuse and was told to hit the road

Hoping it is for the better. LSU has had a good program that has been down at times. Looking for a return to greatness under BK.

Do you think it has anything to do with mitigating any possible title 9 issues with the old staff?

I doubt it.

All of that allegedly happened within the administration.

Orgeron was really the only coach accused of anything and that was flimsy at best. O's name was thrown in to get some attention on the story.

Any Louisiana state system is corrupt. If you don’t play ball and bend the rules you won’t make it there. It’s one of the worst educated states in the country. Trying to hold LSU players to an academic standard will work wonders for him. He will soon realize the stark contrast of academic expectations at ND and LSU.

Only problem with all of this is that Dwight McGlothern came from Texas.

I have, unfortunately. Dennis Franchione did this between 2002-2003.

O kept too many holdovers from miles staff
A new start was needed
You didn’t need players siding with holdover staff

I’m really hoping Brian Kelly is a disaster.

It will be unbelievably fun.

Sounds like he wants a bunch of YES MEN. Not a good strategy for success.

I could see him being "good" yet maybe not winning a title but it's hard to imagine him being a "disaster."

He's won everywhere he's been, when you do that over a period of 30 years, you're obviously doing something right.

It'd probably be easier for Aggies to talk shite if they hadn't just lost to LSU's scout team and then quit on the season.

It actually doesn't sound like that at all.

No it’s actually pretty easy to talk shite considering y’all are Losing Season University (6-7). Just like we beat bama and they went to the NC. Head to head doesn’t matter when your record sucks.
