Auburn fans celebrating so heavily just proves they are well aware that Auburn breaks the rule and doesn't get penalized. Ha.
Don't just limit it to this. Remind us about how we break all the rules.
Hey, what were rules meant for?

Aubies dancing like kids in a candy store right now, but they'll be crying like bitches when the refs actually start throwing flags for their linemen being 3 yards downfield this year.

I think that's called "pulling a bert" around these parts.
Posted on 3/6/15 at 2:19 pm to TTsTowel
So Gus and Hugh have more pull than Nicky and Bert? Must be a respect thing
Posted on 3/6/15 at 2:29 pm to TTsTowel
So Auburn won't lose more than 5 again. War Eagle.

I love Arky logic. bert is the one trying to get rules changed, once going behind errybody's back, but Gus is the pussy.

They are a special kind of retarded.
Posted on 3/6/15 at 2:59 pm to TTsTowel
Um, they will enforce the rule - why you so happy?
Posted on 3/6/15 at 3:00 pm to JuiceTerry
Exactly, like they were such a great team with it not being enforced. Ha.

Kind of like BCS National Champions in 2010 and SEC Champions in 2013?

This is a good thing, imo. Enforce the rules we have for linemen and the problem really is solved but the proposed change would create penalties all the damn time - college is prone to mismatches and it's easy to go beyond 1 yard while engaging your block. 1 yard is just absurd to me when a pancake can take you past that on accident.
If someone is 4-5 yards downfield OR obviously using linemen/ineligibles to make plays then address that specifically. Believe it or not you can make rules for that; you know ones that are specific and not so broad.

What the hell does this even mean? Ref: "Hey, there's an offensive lineman blocking a linebacker on a pass play. I better throw a flag." Gus: "THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!! WE WON'T SCORE AS MANY POINTS!!!! PEOPLE WON'T COME TO OUR GAMES!!!!"
It means not having the Refs control the results of a game, because certain Coaches or fan bases use certain plays as an excuse for losing. I use the bull shite flag at the end of the LSU-bama game last year. You have a ref looking to throw a flag, which ended up changing the result of the game. Gus doesn't want to have to worry about calling a play were one of his OL, might be two yards down field. Anytime a game can be out of the control of the officals, is good for football.
