I heard this directly from someone in the SEC office. ACC and Big 12 champ will get promoted to SEC. Last place of SEC gets relegated to Big 12, 2nd to last to the ACC.

Well Mizzou does belong in the Big12, so I think it might have some merit.

If USC can fly to Washington state, Utah, AZ, OR they can sure as heck make it to Dallas, Tx. So, it doesn't make sense, conference only! Oklahoma can fly to W.Va. or vice-versa. B.C. can fly to play MIami(fla.) If we're going to play at all, then play the whole da..schedule!

Man, are you missing the point entirely.

Of course we want the full schedule, but there is COVID, and conferences have to take that into account. Distance doesn't have a damn thing to do with it. Setting consistent rules for who plays, who doesn't, how long people sit out, PPE requirements, forfeitures, postponements, etc., are the drivers for the conference only schedules. I doubt those three conferences can all get on the same page in the next month, much less 11 conferences.

Pac12 only has 3 OOC games, and they had 2 months to try and work some guidelines out with the other schools/conferences.

They declined to do that. Considering they are paying for most of those big games, I see no reason why they couldn't have just put forward the guidelines they wanted and told the others you are coming to our stadium, this is what must be done.

I'm just not buying that as a legit reason for it.

If the conferences would really take the results of one season to determine the placement of schools, I will ridicule them all until the end of time. Especially considering the uncertainty of the upcoming season. Arkansas or Ole Miss in the ACC? Vandy or South Carolina in the Big 12? Makes no sense at all. They would never chance that shite.

This could be a beautiful thing. Think of potential matchups:

Alabama vs. Notre Dame
Georgia vs. Clemson
Florida vs. West Virginia
Texas A&M vs. Texas

then play the whole da..schedule, except cupcakes lower than the G5 Level!

Fixed that for you

I hope that the current situation can be used to permanently eliminate P5s playing any FCS Colleges ever

I don't care about State RESOLUTIONS that ASK that Big Schools in a State play FCS Colleges to help with their budget

I want better inventory of games which will give me more good choices on TV

Not scared of getting beat by eventual national champion. We’ve lost to Bama plenty of times.

You'd think the team from the Big 12 would know Arkansas came directly from the SWC.
