If USC can fly to Washington state, Utah, AZ, OR they can sure as heck make it to Dallas, Tx.
Los Angeles to Dallas: 1,436 miles (+ 2 time zones)
Los Angeles to Seattle: 1,135 miles (same time zone)
Los Angeles to Pullman: 1,111 miles (same time zone)
Los Angeles to Boulder: 1,068 miles (+1 time zone)
Los Angeles to Corvallis: 900 miles (same time zone)
Los Angeles to Eugene: 856 miles (same time zone)
Los Angeles to Salt Lake City: 688 miles (+1 time zone)
Los Angeles to Tucson: 485 miles (+1 time zone)
Los Angeles to Tempe: 381 miles (+1 time zone)
Thanks for making my point so eloquently!

If USC can fly to Washington state, Utah, AZ, OR they can sure as heck make it to Dallas, Tx. So, it doesn't make sense, conference only! Oklahoma can fly to W.Va. or vice-versa. B.C. can fly to play MIami(fla.) If we're going to play at all, then play the whole da..schedule!
Man, are you missing the point entirely.
Of course we want the full schedule, but there is COVID, and conferences have to take that into account. Distance doesn't have a damn thing to do with it. Setting consistent rules for who plays, who doesn't, how long people sit out, PPE requirements, forfeitures, postponements, etc., are the drivers for the conference only schedules. I doubt those three conferences can all get on the same page in the next month, much less 11 conferences.
.then they're idiots! Trying to pick other p5 teams to take the place of other p5 teams or non p5 schools is as a ridiculous thing I've ever heard of in all my years of being on this earth!
If you cut the achedule down to 8-10 games then conference only makes sense!
But, if your just doing it for logistics or a money grab then play the
Schedule as it is, less those school(s)
that opt out.
